Hi, my name is Lucy and I am looking to raise money to help a young mum and her 2 beautiful children rebuild their lives after they had to flee their family home due to suffering domestic abuse.

Jazmin and the children have been in a safe house since just after Christmas, which has been challenging especially as they had to be taken out of the local area, away from their family and friends who are their main support network.

On the day that they left, they had to pack their lives into 2 backpacks and leave behind everything else, this was absolutely heartbreaking, watching a little boy crying because he couldn’t take his new toys he was given for Christmas just days before.

They have just had the amazing news that they can now move into their new forever home and start rebuilding their lives together free and safe from further abuse. However, the only items they have are the things they took with them on the day they had to flee. Sadly, I have been informed by Professionals involved in this case that many of the items left behind have either been damaged, or destroyed, this is just another bit of devastating news that this family have been faced with.

Due to this, I am hoping to raise funds so that they are able to replace some of the basic items they will need in order to help them start building a new little family home.
