Dear brothers and sisters,

We pray this message reaches you in the best of health and imān.

We are reaching out on behalf of our brother’s mother-in-law, a beloved woman and pillar of her family, who has been battling end-stage kidney failure since 2020. Tragically, both of her kidneys failed due to extremely high blood pressure and other underlying health issues. Since then, she has been reliant on regular dialysis treatments to survive.

While dialysis has sustained her life, it has brought immense physical, emotional, and financial strain. Her AV (arteriovenous) fistula — which is critical for dialysis — is now deteriorating, making treatment increasingly difficult. After much consultation and prayer, the family has decided that a kidney transplant is the most viable long-term solution to improve her quality of life, inshā’Allāh.

Alḥamdulillāh, a willing and eligible family member has stepped forward to be the donor. However, the costs involved are substantial due to the complexity of the case and the need for specialized care before and after the transplant.

To make matters more difficult, the family is also caring for the father-in-law, who is recovering from liver cancer. This has left them overwhelmed, emotionally and financially, and unable to manage the costs of the surgery on their own.

We are humbly appealing to our wider community to support this cause. Your donation — however big or small — can be a source of immense reward (ṣadaqah jāriyah) and may help restore health and dignity to a mother who has endured so much.

The Prophet ﷺ said:

“Whoever relieves a believer’s hardship in this world, Allah will relieve their hardship on the Day of Judgment.” (Muslim)
