Hello, my name is Ameena, and I’m fundraising for my best friend, a 40-year-old mother from Pakistan who is currently battling stage 2–3 endocrine cancer. She is a loving mother to four young children, aged between 6 and 12, and they desperately need their mom to pull through this.

She recently reached out to me in a moment of deep distress, feeling hopeless and overwhelmed by the cost of her treatment. Her husband is doing everything he can to provide for the family and support her care, but they are struggling to make ends meet. The emotional and financial toll this illness has taken on them is heartbreaking.

She requires six life-saving formula-based injections, each costing £4,000 GBP. So far, they have only been able to afford the first two. We are trying to raise £16,000 to cover the remaining four injections that are crucial to her recovery.

This treatment is urgent and essential — without it, her condition could worsen rapidly. More than anything, she wants to survive for her children, who are still so young and completely dependent on her. She constantly worries: “If something happens to me, who will take care of my kids?”
