Help a Mexican girl to go to college

I am Valentina, an international Mexican student trying to finance her education in the United States. My intended major is the Film and Television BFA. It has always been my dream to bring stories from all around the world to the silver screen. I am making small cinema productions on my own, but I do wish to get a good education to be able to make the best possible art I can make.

Although I have already been admitted to the colleges I wanted and have been given scholarships, and even got into the honors program, I still cannot afford my education. As an international student, I am not an eligible candidate for financial aid or federal loans, so the only loans I can access are private loans with extremely high interest rates (even higher as an international student).

I have been working on this for the past three years, getting jobs anywhere I could and broadening my curriculum as much as I could, but I still need a little help. 5000 USD would not only help me pay tuition and other expenses, but it would help me lower my future loan debt by thousands of dollars.

It would make my dreams come true to be able to, after all of the efforts I have done, finally go to college. If I get the chance, I plan to give my 1001% on it. I really wish to give the world good films that help reflect many of the difficult situations and life stories that most of us never get to hear about. I want to give back to my community by teaching them what I learn abroad and help their voices to be heard.
