<div>Slapjack Casuality, a local Union County band was in an awful car wreck on July 15 on their way back from a gig at Miner's Jubilee in Baker.
</div>

<div>While they have since recovered from their injuries, they lost many instruments and equipment worth thousands of dollars.
</div>

<div>Unfortunately, their car insurance did not cover their instruments and they need our help to keep playing, keep us entertained, and keep us dancing.

<div>You may have seen this band at our farm, at the Cove Cherry fair, local farmers markets, and events around eastern Oregon.
</div>

</div>
<div>I love this band because they love this place and are an important part of our community. They write excellent original music and because it is full of excellent people. It is also a family band and just before the accident, they welcomed a brand new baby into the world.
</div>

<div>Besides playing music these folks do social work and environmental restoration in our community.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are lucky to have such great people and musicians in eastern Oregon. If you have ever enjoyed their music or look forward to seeing them in the future, please join me in giving what you can to help these folks out.

<div>Money will go directly to the band to help replace the instruments and equipment they lost.
