My name is Dawn Glencer Ayers. I'm a former Marine, worked at the Pentagon for years. I even survived 9/11, an F-5 tornado in La Plata, MD 7 months later. I'm the founder of the US Angels and raised funds for the returning wounded. I also hosted the Carolina Cruiser tv show, shining the spotlight on all the amazing fund-raising done by the biker community in Upstate South Carolina. Google my name, I'm real, this is not a scam.
I've never lost my home, my car, my bike, all my furniture, clothes, photo albums, think about losing EVERYTHING. I
My friend of 20+ years, Leslie Crutchfield Tiller and her husband Chris just lost everything they had in Houston due to Hurricane Harvey. This morning, they are just trying to find FOOD, let alone a place to live. Please help me help them!
I am trying to help raise funds to help them find safe shelter, food, and clothes until the insurance companies sort things out (if they don't all go bankrupt first.)
I see all the religious postings daily, which is great. But actions speak louder than words. Even if you can spare only $5, it would be greatly appreciated. Please donate what you can, because Les would do it for all of you.

Leslie took the photo below from the 2nd floor of her home. That dark haze is water. It was 3 steps away from the 2nd level when they were finally rescued on Monday afternoon at 1pm, August 28th.
