Brain Cancer a Horsemans fight for Life and Family

Donation protected
From as early as August 2019, whilst Brenden was attending to the morning routine with his team of horses, Brenden just happened to feel tingling & numbness in the corner of his mouth and his right hand. Out of concern it was later ascertained from an MRI scan, that Brenden was to be diagnosed with a Brain Tumor.

Being referred to Dr. Charlie Teo and having his first consult, the decision was made with his fiance Megan right there and then to remove the tumor. Having extended stays in hospital, enduring travel between Sydney and Grafton coupled with the onset of seizures, slurred speech, and other complications - post surgery, Brenden was facing an uphill task and at the three month follow up with Dr. Teo, it was confirmed the tumor had spread like a spider web and now the tumors are inoperable.

Coming into March of 2020, Brenden's life has taken on a whole new trajectory and he is now embarking on the stark reality of fighting for his life. With the unconditional love of his fiance Megan and family, Brenden is now undergoing radiation and chemotherapy at Royal North Shore Hospital under the guise of Professor Michael Bach.

Brenden a 48 year old father of 5 year old daughter Ava and
1 year old son Noah, Brenden faces the undeniable truth that capturing the moments of seeing his children grow up, may not become a reality for him.  However there is more at stake here, it is the future well being of Brenden's family as Brenden now has been diagnosed with another tumour and blood clots in September & October of 2020. We seek to create awareness of this situation as it is not only Brenden's circumstances that are dire but it is also, Megan, Ava and Noah that need support.

With great respect and humility in this time of adversity Brenden seeks vital financial support from the public, to help with reimbursements, medical treatments, Sydney accommodation and travel expenses throughout this time of travesty. This gifted horseman and family man who now has had to surrender his trainers licence due to severe complications from his condition, we now humbly seek financial support which can free Megan from further financial burden, helping rear their children Ava and Noah, as the reality of Brenden passing away within 6 months is a distinct possibility.

His Family is the core fabric which keeps him together and the thoroughbred is a Vessel of Peace, that personifies the reason he continues to fight this unbeatable foe, Brain Cancer...
