Help a homeless man back on his feet

Donation protected
We are trying to help a genuine homeless gentleman with learning difficulties and just needs the right support from those that understand. Over the past year or so he has been living from a van. I’ll tell you what he did whilst he was on the car par he was living from. He had his own stove and last year made his own fudge and chocolates and sold them to earn a living ( this year he can’t due to “Covid”) and to help himself get straight ( this money was stolen ). He helped the homeless whilst living on his mums couch, (we have proof of this ) he fed the cat that visited him daily even if it was his last pound, he cleaned all the trash at the end of the day that we all make, he moved on the wrong attention even though it caused him trouble and has also been badly beaten several times ( this has also been backed up and the latest incident was witnessed by ourselves, once we left the start of this altercation, the guy returned to get a reaction and unfortunately this is what happened. I know people saw the first part of the altercation where the also verbally attacked us too because we were there). Please remember there is always to sides to every story and a middle truth. We then moved him to somewhere safer and legally! He is a kind gentleman with a good heat and intentions but can also be fiery when pushed ( we all can to some point ). He has been beaten up god knows how many times just because he sticks up for himself. A guy commented on a fb status and has confirmed that the latest van he bought from himself. ( this van was not bought for him or donated). So he does have one but I can assure you it’s not going to last long, it definitely needs a new clutch and flywheel and possibly brakes and an exhaust repair. He bought a bed and set it up and had his Universal Credit stopped as he does not have a fixed address which has made it even harder for him to get back onto his feet. I will try and help him with this too ( we have the proof too). As some of you know we have changed this post and re worded it and we want to make sure everything is correct. Don’t feel we should have had to but needed to. We miss interpreted a lot and that’s mainly our faults because our heads have been so busy and mashed over this period that information was all over. He mentioned the bus for the flood victims and said he was offered a spot on it but didn’t want to he had his bed and a van I thought he was in them but he wasn’t. After seeing a post he put on Facebook the other day our hearts broke. We together rallied around our houses for spare clothes, extra tins, toiletries etc and have taken this too him. We’re also now taking it in turns to do his washing. ( I bet most think omg they are crazy as ur probably right we’re definitely crazy but who cares. We have also received some lovely donations already and positive comments. There will always be someone who will try and tar something when your doing good for another that doesn’t mean this is always right. But you have to ask yourself why he was still there if this was true with the “evidence” they had. Which was only that he used a shorter name to his real one . Our aim is to get this guy a better vehicle to live in and move around. He doesn’t like living in a house or flat as he feels they are to big and lonely which is understandable, he doesn’t want to be housed in shared housing for his own safety. If you are willing to help all we ask is that a small donation is made to get him settled down properly and to share this page. If you don’t want to then this is fine. Please dont leave any negative comments as they help no one. We genuinely want to help him and get him a suitable van and get him re started. ** we will have proof of everything bought, insured, taxed and not be giving him any direct cash and we will also keep in contact with him once our mission is complete ** If you could spare as little as a pound it all adds up. Any extra money made will be donated to other homeless charities as this is what gentleman had requested. Lots of love Inspired Angels.
