A few weeks ago, I met a family in Mesquite who have truly fallen on hard times. The mother, a hardworking woman, is doing everything she can to care for her seven children. Right now, they are living together in their Nissan Armada, facing the daily challenges and dangers that come with being homeless. Despite these hardships, the mother has managed to keep her job and has recently secured a place for her family to stay. She can afford the monthly rent moving forward, but she doesn’t have the funds needed to move in right away. 
 
 
 
 Having a safe place to live would mean everything to this family. The streets are no place for children, and every day spent in their car is another day without the security and comfort that a home provides. With your help, we can give them the chance to start fresh in a safe environment, where the children can feel secure and the mother can focus on building a better future for her family.
