Help a friend who has no help

Hi fellow humans
This is a secret fundraiser for an anonymous person as they do not know I am setting this up because they do not like asking for help, but they need help.
Here is the story: My friend is one of the few good eggs here on earth, and his upbringing and influences around him have been far from good. He has been raising himself and his younger brother since he was 13. He's a caring, hard working, beautiful soul. 
Yesterday he got word that his grandma got sick with bronchitis and she already has to be on an oxygen tank. He had to miss work today to go take care of her and no one else in his family would help. He said he has to buy her a lot of new equipment and will cost about 600 dollars. 
This person is so humble and caring it makes me mad that he has had such an unfair situation. I won't go into anymore details about his personal life, but the things he has told me about his family are heart wrenching.
