<div>My name is Dani, and this is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to write.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>It’s always been me and my mom. She raised me on her own while spending over 30 years as a schoolteacher — giving everything she had to her students and to me.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>She recently fell victim to a sophisticated scam. The people behind it pretended to be federal agents and used what looked like legitimate PayPal messages. Everything she worked her whole life for was taken — her savings, her retirement, and now even her home is at risk.
</div>
<div>My mom is 70 years old and living on a small teacher’s pension that barely covers her expenses.
</div>
<div>I’m a firefighter and paramedic, and I’ve spent my life helping others through emergencies. But right now, I’m trying to save my mom from hers.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Anything helps — even a few dollars or a share. Every bit goes toward helping her keep her home and start over. Thank you for taking the time to read this and for showing kindness to someone who has spent her life giving it to others.
