</div>
<div>Hello, my name is Derick Lavoie, and I’m a father fighting to preserve the bond I share with my two young children—Quincy (7) and Aliyra (5). I’m reaching out for support as I face an urgent legal battle to prevent their court-ordered relocation from Quebec to Calgary.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div> Why This Matters
</div>
<div>My children are the heart of my life. I’ve been a consistent, loving presence in their routines, education, and emotional development. Every weekend, I care for them, attend school events, and nurture their growth. But now, a relocation threatens to sever the close connection we’ve built.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If they move across the country, our time together will be reduced to occasional video calls and infrequent visits—an arrangement that risks damaging their emotional stability and our relationship.
</div>

</div>
<div>⚖️ What I’m Fighting For
</div>
<div>I’m self-represented in this legal process, doing everything I can to protect my children’s best interests. I’ve filed appeals, drafted affidavits, and proposed alternative access arrangements that prioritize their well-being. But the legal system is complex and costly, and I’ve reached a point where I need help.

<div>Your support will go directly toward:

</div>
<div>Expert consultations to strengthen my case
</div>

<div>Resources to ensure my children’s voices are heard

<div> How You Can Help
</div>
<div>Every dollar brings me closer to preserving the meaningful, regular contact my children deserve. If you believe in the importance of keeping families connected—especially when children thrive in both homes—please consider donating or sharing this campaign.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Together, we can stand up for what’s right: stability, love, and the irreplaceable bond between a father and his children.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for reading, supporting, and believing in this fight.
