<div>On September 1st, everything changed. Noel was detained—not because he did anything wrong, but simply for trying to calm someone during a difficult situation as a bystander. That very same night, he was taken to a detention center. In an instant, a father, husband, grandpa, uncle and provider was torn away from the family that depends on him so deeply. His family is now left facing unimaginable uncertainty, while holding onto the hope of bringing him home.
