<div>On Friday, October 3, I got one of the worst phone calls of my life. I was told my husband was being airlifted to Albany Medical. He was crushed between a garage door and a Mac truck at work. The drive to Albany all alone was the worst hour of my life, not knowing what was going to happen to him. He is very lucky to be alive and will need surgery to fix his broken arm and be out of work for a while now.

<div>On top of his accident, I am battling cancer right now. I myself will be having major surgery on October 14. We were going to be counting on his income for bills and taking care of our family. Now we are both without our incomes for an extended period of time.
