Help a family facing medical crisis

On Tuesday, June 9 our world was rocked when our son was diagnosed with heart failure. He appeared to be a healthy 35 year-old devoted husband and loving father of 2. He was hospitalized with acute, severe, undiagnosed left ventricle failure. David never smoked; has never been a heavy drinker; and has never used drugs.
In the middle of a pandemic, he bravely endured a stay in the hospital all alone for three weeks, separated from his wife and kids, with his only contact being from Face Time, text messages, and phone calls. He underwent several tests, and was implanted with a temporary balloon pump to assist his heart. After several days, it was determined that the best course of action was to undergo open heart surgery to implant a permanent pump called an LVAD, or left ventricular assist device, that will assist his heart. He was in the hospital for 3 weeks, but is now home with his family.
He has been making a lot of small strides that are huge in his recovery, but has a long way to go yet and life will never look the same for him. Living with an LVAD for life will create challenges for him and his family. There will be things that he will not be able to do anymore that he enjoyed doing with his family, as well as financial burdens to maintain life on an LVAD.
We are asking for donations to help him and his wife pay for the mounting medical bills and also to help pay for future medical bills that will be with them for the remainder of his life.
