<div>I would like to ask you to support a family of a single mother and her 18-year-old son who has autism.
</div>

<div>In February 2026, the family was evicted from their apartment. Since then, three organisations have been trying to help them understand what happened and why the eviction took place, even though the rent had been paid. At the same time, efforts have been made to secure support through Sozialwohnhilfe and Jobcenter.
</div>

</div>
<div>Unfortunately, despite all these efforts, the family has still not received the formal support they need.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>At first, they were able to stay with friends. At the moment, they are living in an Airbnb. We are raising funds to help cover one month of rent (edit: we are collecting more than one, please read the update) for the Airbnb apartment while we continue to wait for formal institutions to provide support.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This support would come at an especially important moment. This month, the son has started at a Werkstatt, which is a great success for him after having had a difficult time adapting to the German school system in the past. We would like to support him in this new chapter of his life. He is currently taking important steps towards greater independence and confidence.

<div>ich möchte euch bitten, eine Familie zu unterstützen, die aus einer alleinerziehenden Mutter und ihrem 18-jährigen Sohn mit Autismus besteht.
</div>

<div>Im Februar 2026 wurde die Familie aus ihrer Wohnung geräumt. Seitdem versuchen drei Organisationen, gemeinsam mit der Familie zu klären, wie es dazu kommen konnte und warum die Räumung trotz gezahlter Miete erfolgt ist. Gleichzeitig wurde versucht, Unterstützung durch die Sozialwohnhilfe und das Jobcenter zu erhalten.

<div>Leider hat die Familie trotz aller Bemühungen bis heute noch keine formelle staatliche Unterstützung erhalten.

<div>Zunächst konnte die Familie bei Freund*innen unterkommen. Derzeit lebt sie in einer Airbnb-Wohnung. Mit dieser Spendenaktion möchten wir helfen, die Miete für einen Monat (Edit: Wir sammeln inzwischen für mehr als eine Airbnb-Miete. Bitte lest dazu das Update) in dieser Unterkunft zu finanzieren, während wir weiterhin auf Unterstützung durch die zuständigen Institutionen warten.

<div>Diese Unterstützung kommt in einem besonders wichtigen Moment. In diesem Monat hat der Sohn seine Arbeit in einer Werkstatt begonnen, was für ihn ein großer Erfolg ist, nachdem er in der Vergangenheit Schwierigkeiten hatte, sich an das deutsche Schulsystem anzupassen. Wir möchten ihn in diesem neuen Lebensabschnitt unterstützen. Er geht derzeit wichtige Schritte hin zu mehr Selbstständigkeit und Sicherheit.
