We are reaching out to support an incredible woman, a devoted mother, and a passionate educator who has dedicated her life to helping others. She is a beloved professor at the University of Houston-Downtown and a dedicated dyslexia specialist/interventionist, ESL coach, and bilingual reading specialist. She works tirelessly giving students the confidence and skills they need to thrive.

Her kindness, patience, and unwavering commitment to her students have changed countless lives. She treats each child as if they were her own, ensuring that every student feels seen, heard, and capable of success. Now, she is facing an unimaginable loss—the passing of her beloved son.

As she navigates this heartbreaking time, we hope to ease the financial burden of funeral expenses and provide support as she takes time off work to grieve. She has always given so much to others—now, it's our turn to give back.
