Help A Black Woman Owned Business Survive in WI

Donation protected
I am raising money for Marilyn, an inspiring Black woman and small business owner. Marilyn started Happily Ever After Children's Botique  7 years ago in Madison, WI.  Her store is an award winning resale boutique. Marilyn shared, "when I started the business, nobody expected us to flourish. I was told in no uncertain terms that nobody would buy used children’s clothes from a Black woman. Well, I’m very proud to say we have won the gold in Best of Madison TWICE in the consignment category! With the profits from my boutique, I have helped Black owned businesses expand, realize their dream of starting a business and donated to nonprofits with a mission of helping women and children. But now my business needs help to survive during Covid19."

Let's support Marilyn to keep her shop OPEN in this valuable space of resale for children and families! Here, she can do what she does best, creating an amazing resale space and helping others with the support of her business experience and her local advocacy work.

YOU ARE IMPORTANT TO THIS EFFORT! When you support a Black woman's business you truly create change exactly where change is needed.  Think of  your support  as being a co-liberator with a Black woman --- an essential  part of #BlackLivesMatter and a direct action in your anti-racism practice. THIS is what we are talking about here in Madison, WI, and all around the country.

Please share this campaign with your friends and family, and on social media.

Thank you,

Meghan
