<div>Jesús was at a birthday party, watching his friend hit a piñata. When the broomstick broke, the sharp end struck him directly in the eye. There was blood everywhere. The next thing Jesús remembers is waking up in the hospital, where doctors had to remove his eye to save his life.

<div>Hello, my name is Jesús Alejandro Díaz Urias.
</div>

</div>
<div>Today, I’m asking for your help to raise enough money for my ocular prosthesis. Even though my dad’s job provides medical insurance (IMSS), it does not cover the cost of my prosthetic eye or many of the surgery-related expenses. My parents are doing everything they can, but it has been very difficult.

<div>A little about me — I’m in my second year of kindergarten. I love pizza, singing, and playing soccer (it’s my favorite sport!). I also love spending time with my siblings, Bárbara and Roberto.

<div>When I grow up, I dream of becoming a firefighter, a doctor, or a teacher… or maybe even a superhero, if they let me.
</div>
<div>But first, I need to recover 100%.
