Sharon Moir's recovery fund

We are raising money for Robert's sister Sharon, who was involved in a fire in January that resulted in her losing all of her belongings including her furniture, clothes, and computer. She survived thanks to the Berwyn police department, who were first on the scene and rescued her from the burning building, and to the wonderful staff at Loyola Hospital's Burn Center.

Sharon spent 3 weeks on a ventilator and a whole month in the burn ICU. She was discharged in early February but has a long recovery ahead of her. She will need physical therapy and occupational therapy along with dressing changes and wound management.

While she can only talk at a whisper, she has expressed gratitude for all the love and support from her sisters, brother, parents, cousins, friends, and coworkers. The outpouring of concern and love overwhelmed the hospital staff at times. Everyone was so generous of their time and prayers. We hope everyone continues to pray for her as she recovers and rebuilds. She is unable to work during this time and will definitely need assistance to find housing and make the long journey to health.
