<div>On July 11, 2025, tragedy struck when a fire tore through the home of our beloved Basil Wees, a 78-year-old grandfather, father,  neighbor, and friend. In just a matter of minutes, everything he owned was reduced to ashes — a lifetime of memories, keepsakes, and security gone in an instant.

<div>Thankfully, Basil Wees made it out safely, but he lost everything: his home, furniture, clothes, and irreplaceable family heirlooms. At his age, starting over is daunting and incredibly difficult, especially on a fixed income.
