Friends of Warm Hearth is an extraordinary organization that helps provide Armenian Adult Orphans with physical and mental disabilities, a home and special care after they have outgrown the orphanage. After the age of 18, most of these special needs orphans are left with no place to go, but thanks to this incredible organization they are able to live in homes specifically dedicated to their lifelong care. They provide holistic, integrated and forever homes for Armenian orphans with disabilities throughout the nation of Armenia. So far they have opened two homes, one in Yerevan & one in Arinj and are in the hopes of opening the 3rd home to take in 7 orphans in need of a home. They are focused on providing group homes that provide high quality and loving care for their residents by hiring educated and loving staff as well as providing daily activities for the Orphans.

Individuals with special needs are still often institutionalized and stigmatized as dangerous, inhuman, and shameful. But with the work they do, they have seen a shift in the perception of their residents, constantly allowing them to grow and strive for a better life.

How Do They Finance Themselves?
The work they do day and night utilizes private, local and international donations, self-generated income projects and public funds. Even the smallest donations contribute to a greater change in the work that they hope to accomplish.

The rest of the funds will be used for maitnaining the home!

In the hopes that we surpass our goal the funds will go towards many other creative and innovating ideas towards improving the lives of the orphans. such as:

- Car for Transportation of the Orphans
- Neighborhood Outreach
- Individualized Therapy Sessions
- Individualized Educational Supplies and Classes
- Activities outside of the Homes
