Help 5 Orphaned Kids Find a Family

Every child deserves a chance to have a family and you can make that difference.
Many kids have been waiting and it's not too late to make their dreams a reality. Older kids in the system typically have a devastatingly low chance at being adopted. To add to this tragedy, many of those kids are living in institutions, both in the US and abroad. Kidsave, their team of hosts and would-be hosts (like myself) as well as many supporters are working to change those odds. Please donate to help change kids lives by greatly improving their chances at finding a family.
Specifically, your help is needed to get these siblings to the US this summer to experience 'typical' family life and to find adoptive families. Along with many, many deserving children, Santiago (16), Luis (15), Ivan (13), Saray (10) and Gerson (8) are siblings living in an institution for orphaned children in Columbia. Despite the Columbian government splitting these kids up to improve their adoptability, their chances of finding families in Columbia are exceptionally low without a host and the help of Kidsave.
Seeing Santiago and Gerson on the Kidsave website, I inquired about hosting them this summer. I was told that these brothers wanted to come to the United Stated BUT they would only come if their brothers and sister found a host as well. Wouldn't it be amazing if all five of these kids could come to the US together??
You can help make their dream a reality by donating to their cause either here or by donating directly to Kidsave (time or money).
Kidsave hosts are volunteers. In fact, hosts pay for the children's care during their stay including supplying clothes, basic items and care, camp, activities, food and a percentage of medical care as well as some of the costs associated with getting the kids into the US. Home checks and background checks are added to these costs.
Roughly $4,000 is needed to bring just one child to the US but if we can raise $6,500 by March 15th, we have a real chance to bring all five kids here together. The actual hosting costs will likely be closer to $10,000 if all five siblings come together. All funds raised will go toward the goal of helping kids without families.
There is no greater gift than helping create a family for these kids, your contrubtuion would mean the world to them and to their futures. 83% or more of the kids who get hosted through the Summer Miracles program find homes. If we bring these 5 kids to the US, with your help, 4 or 5 of these siblings could find homes in 2018.
I would be so greatful if you would consider contributing to this cause. I would also like to ask you to forward this on to as many different people as you possibly can. Networking is how the program works and it will make all the difference.
