<div>Hi, my name is Cornelio Mateo, and my wife Rufina and I are reaching out with heavy hearts to ask for your prayers and support. Our sweet Maria Sofia is just 3 years old. She’s a bright, loving little girl with the sweetest smile, but since she was 18 months old, she’s been fighting something no child should ever face — sarcoma, an aggressive cancer affecting her bones and lungs.

<div>When Maria Sofia was first diagnosed, our world turned upside down. Since then, she’s been receiving biweekly chemotherapy and radiation treatments. Despite everything, she’s been incredibly strong and brave, but this journey has been very hard on her little body and on our family.

<div>We also have a 1-year-old son, Angel Leonardo, and balancing his care while being there for Maria has been overwhelming. My wife and I are doing everything we can to stay strong for both of our babies.
