<div>Three years ago, while his wife was pregnant with their first son, JW Froelich received news no young family ever expects to hear: he was diagnosed with testicular cancer. Surgery was performed to remove the mass, and the family was told it was encapsulated and had not spread. With hope and relief, JW and his wife moved forward, believing the hardest part was behind them.

<div>But life has a way of rewriting the story. Just two months after welcoming their second baby boy into the world, and just two months after JW lost his father, the Froelich family received devastating news. The cancer is back. This time in his lymph nodes.

<div>JW is only 29 years old. He is a devoted husband, father to two young boys, brother, son, and now the sole person running the ranch after the sudden loss of his dad, who passed away just six days after JW’s youngest son was born. While still grieving his father and adjusting to life with a newborn, JW stepped into an overwhelming responsibility, taking over the family ranch entirely on his own. The operation is large and the work is nonstop. Livestock still need feed; cattle and horses need extra care. The ranch doesn’t pause for grief, exhaustion, or cancer.

<div>As a fourth-generation rancher, JW is deeply committed to preserving what his father built. He wants to keep the ranch intact, not only to honor his dad’s legacy, but to give his two sons the opportunity to carry it on one day, if they choose.

<div>Now, JW is preparing to face another difficult round of treatment with strength and determination.

<div>He will undergo an intensive 12-week chemotherapy regimen that requires him to be away from the ranch for five consecutive days at a time, every three weeks. During those weeks, the family will face mounting medical bills, frequent travel to the cancer center over an hour away, potential lodging during treatment weeks, and the significant cost of hiring help to keep the ranch running while JW is gone.

<div>This diagnosis didn’t come during a calm or stable season of life. It came during a season already filled with loss, transition, and overwhelming responsibility.
