<div>I am reaching out to ask for support a 26 year old woman from, who is battling end-stage kidney disease. For the past 2 years, she has relied on regular dialysis to survive, and her condition has become increasingly critical. While completing an externship and following local doctors at Addis Hospital, I had the pleasure to meet this patience a young women who was once the sole provider for her family, and hopefully we can help her live a life full of possibility again.

<div>For over six months, she’s been living with a temporary dialysis catheter which is something only meant to be used for only 4–6 weeks. This has caused repeated life threatening infections and multiple ICU admissions.
</div>
<div>The good news is that her doctors have confirmed she is eligible for a kidney transplant, a life saving procedure that would free her from the pain and instability of dialysis,as she travels long distances for treatment and often has to beg in order to afford each session. She needs dialysis three times a week but can only afford it once a month,as she receives food from fellow patients who are struggling and barely have enough for themselves.

<div>Despite everything, she remains full of gratitude and thanks for everything given to her —grateful even for a simple conversation towards anyone- me included.
</div>
<div>Unfortunately, her or her family cannot afford much, and we are trying to raise $15,000 to give her the second chance she deserves.Every and any donation no matter how small will help us get closer to this goal. And if you’re unable to give, just sharing her story could be the reason someone else does.
