My name is Akram Mahmoud Ismail Al-Athamneh, and I am a father figure, caregiver, and survivor from western Gaza. Before the war, I was a proud software engineer, working to support my family and build a future. Today, I live in a tent, responsible for 25 people—including orphaned children, my ill father, and other displaced relatives.
We lost our home. We lost our neighborhood. We lost our way of life.
I’m raising funds to help provide food, medicine, clean water, clothing, and basic shelter for the children and elderly who now depend on me. Many of the children lost their fathers in the war. They urgently need milk, diapers, hygiene supplies, and warmth—essentials that are now extremely scarce and unaffordable in Gaza.
The funds will be used for:
Purchasing food and drinking water
Buying essential medicine for my elderly father and children
Providing milk and diapers for babies and toddlers
Buying clothes and blankets for warmth
Ensuring temporary shelter and safer living conditions
This support is not just for survival—it is for restoring dignity, warmth, and a small sense of hope in a place where hope is running out.
If you can help in any way, your kindness will directly impact lives in desperate need.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart,
– Akram
