Support James Rumsey Technical Institute's SkillsUSA Champions: Help 12 Gold Medalists Shine at Nationals!
Celebrating Excellence, Seeking Your Support!
James Rumsey’s brightest young talents have done it again! Twelve hardworking students from across the eastern panhandle earned gold medals at the SkillsUSA West Virginia Championships, showcasing their skills in fields like cisco, robotics, masonry, and more. Now, they’ve qualified to represent our state at the 2025 SkillsUSA National Leadership & Skills Conference—but they need your help to get there.
Why Your Support Matters
These students have already proven they’re among the best in the nation, but the cost of attending nationals is steep. Each champion faces expenses for travel (transportation), lodging, meals, registration fees, and competition materials. For many of these talented teens, this opportunity is out of reach without financial assistance.
We’re raising $10,000 to ensure all 12 gold medalists can compete on the national stage. Your donation, no matter the size, will directly fund:
✈️ Travel to Atlanta, GA
Accommodations for the 4-day event
Materials & Fees required for their competitions
️ Meals & Essentials during their trip
Invest in Their Future—and Ours
SkillsUSA isn’t just about competitions; it’s about building tomorrow’s leaders, technicians, and innovators. These students represent West Virginia’s potential, and with your support, they’ll gain confidence, connections, and career opportunities that ripple back into our communities.
How You Can Help:
Donate: Every dollar brings them closer to their dream.
Share: Spread the word on social media, email, or community groups.
Cheer Them On: Leave a comment of encouragement for our team!
Together, we can turn their hard work into a national victory!
“This trip is a once-in-a-lifetime chance for these students. They’ve earned it—let’s make sure they can seize it.”
