Agent Orange wont take my Dad!

My father served his country in Vietnam (two terms) and was diagnosis with Agent Orange exposure related insulin dependent diabetes, heart disease and now Stage 4 non small cell lung cancer. It is in both lungs and lymph modes. The VA was offering standard care, not personalized. They just dont have the technology to treat him. We went to Sloan Kettering and love their outlook. Dr. Park and Jean Yee are two amazing people that are giving us so much hope. Problem -he has been treating with VA benefits, Sloan doesn’t accept the benefits and the VA doesn’t offer. He has Part A medicare which pays hospital only. His Part B doesn’t start until July 2018. We have been searching for medigap and supplement insurance and its proving difficult. 8 weeks of chemo may run $80,000 00. My dad wont sell the house because he doesnt want his wife to suffer if he goes. Stupid money may keep him emotionally weak and unable to help us help him. PLEASE HELP - HELP IS EVERYTHING TO US - OUR FOUNDATION. This is beyond embarrassing. Thank you. - Diane, Michael, Dad and Maura, Dege, Dan, Kelly and Janet.
