<div>Hi, this is Kelly’s sister Stacey. I’m sure you are now aware from Kelly’s post what’s happened. We are all absolutely devastated for Kelly and she has such a long road of recovery ahead of her with multiple surgeries.

<div>As you can probably imagine Kelly is completely traumatised, she’s not doing very well at all and I think will definitely have PTSD from this.
</div>

<div>At the moment, even with everything going in Kelly’s main worry is her work, she’s unable to work for the foreseeable future, and because she works full time, she’s not able to get any government help. So will just be on basic sick pay. She’s worrying so much about this I’ve decided to try and do something practical to help.

<div>So I’ve started a Go Fund Me page for anyone who wants to help in any little way they want to.

<div>I know Kelly is well loved and well thought of by so so many people so I thought we could all work together to at least try and alleviate this for her so she can focus on getting better and recovering.

<div>‼️TRIGGER WARNING GRAPHIC PICTURES IN COMMENTS‼️ I'm sharing this as a post as I am understandably traumatised and having flashbacks when I have to re-tell what happened over and over and also as a way to feel able to leave my house and face people again.. I have been attacked by a friends dog (a dachshund) while at her house completely unprovoked and without any warning or signs of aggression the dog was sitting next to me on the floor and had been all night and was nothing but a normal happy friendly dog as far as I knew when out of nowhere he suddenly lunged at my face and has ripped half of my cheek off. He also but my atm and I've had 4 stitches in that, as a result of this I was taken straight to hospital amd the plastics team performed a skin graft to cover the wound by taking a section of skin from my collar bone which will also leave a scar. I have to return to the wound clinic next Monday to jave the pressure dressing removed and will then know if the skin graft was successful and has stuck or not. I understand that everyone has questions about it and I am so touched by all the messages I've had from the people who know however I am going through hell coming to terms with this and I cannot face going out and having to tell every person I see why my face is like this so this is why I'm posting this, please understand I don't know what is going to happen now I have a long recovery in front of me and I will have no income until I can return to work, I will be scarred for life and I don't know how badly disfigured I will be but am imagining the worst I will never be the same. I have shared the photos of my face in the comments section as to give fair warning they are graphic and not for the faint hearted and don't want to upset anyone who might come across them on their news feed but I know that most of my friends who have been told have been asking how bad it is and I want to spare myself the upset of seeing people's reactions when they see me.
