<div>I'm Ahmed Abuamsha (I also go by the stage name Ahmed Muin, links to my music are below the text) , a teacher of music at the American School of Gaza and an instructor in guitar playing at Edward Saeed Institute for Music in Gaza. Before the war of 2023 on Gaza Strip, I used to have a sound recording and Producing studio called "Awtar for Sound Production" where I used to compose, write lyrics and engineer sound on songs whether they were for children, commercials , advertisements or love and popular wedding songs . My studio was deigned according to the professional specification. It was on the ground floor of my house , on the main street of my neighborhood of Olive Quarter (Ezzayton Neighborhood) in the Southern part of Beit Harroun, Northern Gaza. .It consisted of three places:

<div>a) Recording room.
</div>
<div>b) Control Room.
</div>
<div>c) a small salon.
</div>
<div>The recording room had a lot of valuable equipment: it’s walls were covered with wavy sponge blaster, double-hard-glass window, and it had jacks, cords and cables, high-quality microphone and iron stands for music notes and headphones . The control room had a five-system of sound speakers "Mackie", a sound mixer, 3 guitars and 2 organs (one of them was oriental).

<div>My story begins when we received messages on our mobiles , ordering us to leave immediately or our lives would be in great danger. Frightened and sad we left everything except the light clothes on us . In the middle of the night where there wasn't any light but the lights of our mobiles while the F-16 fighters bombarded the far side of the city of Beit Hanoun as if they were pushing us to move to the south part of the city and the drones were surveying the area hovering over our heads with relentless noise . Believe me, it was a real nightmare! Flashing was blazing the dark horizons of the skies , and there was a deafening explosions every now and then. We kept running until we reached the suburbs of Jabalia Refugee Camp. We found shelter in an UNRWA school, where we slept on the ground, on stairs, for there wasn't any room. My family and siblings were 51 people.

<div>The next day, our shelter was bombarded by an artillery bomb. Again we ran away, as women and kids were screaming with fear and panic . We continued to walk on foot until we arrived at Gaza (Gaza city). There was no place to stay or to find a shelter. So we decided to move to Khan Younis since the Army ordered the people to go beyond Wadi Gaza (South of Gaza Valley) .We stayed for 51 days at another UNRWA school . Finally, we left Khan-Younis off to Rafah.

<div>Now, here we are in a plastic and wood tent, facing the ever new strange conditions . My father decided to disperse the family. Now, here I am, on the 181st day of the war on Gaza.
</div>
<div>I, who have nothing , borrowed a Spanish guitar from a friend in Rafah , playing music and singing with kids to change the mood of the kids and started to tour the displaced war-refugee centers , creating an atmosphere of fun and happiness though the kids are still under the trauma.
</div>
<div>Two days ago, I applied for implementation of a new initiative which I prepared to set up a group of artists, actors and activators in order to help kids who bear the psychological agony of war; death and destruction - to participate in the activities that would be performed in the refugee centers.
</div>
<div>This is my family, the ones that I live for and enjoy loving them even in a small plastic tent and under the shelling of all kinds of old and new state-of-the-art weapons, killing hundreds of people in the wink of eye. We are not safe.
</div>
<div>There is no medicine to cure cold , diarrhea , bad dreams, and bedwetting for the kids, and hepatitis A became epidemic.
</div>
<div>Things get even worse when it rains to find all the mattresses sink in rain water
</div>
<div>When we sit together in the tent, we recall the happy moments and remembering how decent life we had. We never needed anybody to help anyway. My business was flourishing by performing wedding parties and teaching music in addition to my production in the studio. My kids never lack anything but today life has shown it's ugly face and my lifetime line has dropped backwards 180 degrees. Now I feel how trifle life is, no house, no studio, no teaching, and no job . Depression began to creep with the annoying sound of drones and I don't know whether death is waiting for us or we are waiting for it. I cry out loud ''Do you hear me out there???’’ I lost my civilization of 30 years. Everything has gone with the wind. Square Zero.

<div>But there always a tiny light at the far end of the dark tunnel. There is a sound inside me saying,'' Hey, you ! Why not start over again ? It's not the end of the world . If you lose everything, don't speak a word but use your weary tools and begin to sing the song of hope!''
</div>
<div>Hope always comes with the help of good- hearted people. We are human beings like you . We have good expectations and plans of hope to survive and start again.
</div>
