ACROSS MEXICO: FROM TIJUANA TO TAPACHULA THE REVERSE TREK
DOCUMENTED IN ORDER TO RAISE AWARENESS AND CREATE EMPATHY
If we don’t foster the mental, emotional and spiritual resilience of migrants in transit, no coat will feel warm, no medicine will heal.
-WHO ARE WE AND WHAT DO WE DO
Helix Libera is a non-profit organization born in Barcelona, we arrived on terrain in Baja California with our mobile home a little over two months ago at the border city of Tijuana (Mexico) and we have since created space to heal for over a 1000 migrants through therapy and art. During this time, we have helped raise awareness with the city's locals by our performances in schools and streets of this city through education and social clown.
Now we will begin a southbound trek visiting shelters, schools and streets crossing Mexico in the inverse of the most common migration trail with our workshops, performance art, therapeutic interventions, education and art therapy for migrant populations and raising awareness amongst locals.

After two months, we need help.
Please help us to continue our interventions so that we may heal more kids, teenagers and adults. Help us reach more migrant shelters to heal, schools to sensitivize, and the streets to breach misunderstandings and create empathy and trust.

· 1500€ for fuel of our mobile home in our tour of shelters towards the southern border of Mexico from Tijuana
· 1500€ production of a documentary film showing our journey through America, Europe and other continents raising awareness and healing souls.
- IF WE SURPASS OUR GOAL
We’ll continue south past the southern Mexican border with therapy, education and art… to reach the root of the conflict in Central America, intervening at the communities from where our migrant brethren are coming.

Si no atendemos a la salud mental, emocional y espiritual de las personas, no hay abrigo que caliente ni medicina que sane.
- QUIENES SOMOS Y QUE HACEMOS...
Asociación Helix Libera sin ánimo de lucro de Barcelona, llegamos con una casa rodante hace dos meses a Tijuana (México) y hemos acompañado a más de 1000 almas migrantes con terapia y arte; hemos sensibilizado a la población y actuado en escuelas y calles de la ciudad a través de la educación y el clown social.
Ahora empezamos camino hacia el sur haciendo ruta de albergues, calles y escuelas cruzando México por ruta migratoria con nuestros talleres e intervenciones de terapia, educación y arte para el colectivo migrante y la sensibilización para toda la población. Así como difundir el documental de sensibilización grabado durante nuestra intervención social comunitaria.
