Wenn wir sie nicht aufhalten, wird sie ihn uns nehmen. Eines Tages wird sein Herz, das heute noch so tapfer schlägt, einfach stehen bleiben.

Und in diesem Moment bleibt auch unseres stehen.
 
Wir haben keine Zeit. Keine einzige Minute. Wir müssen ihn retten.
 
Unser Sohn träumte immer davon, stärker zu werden als sein Papa. Und ich habe ihm versprochen, dass er es eines Tages schaffen wird. Ich muss dieses Versprechen halten.

Als Vater könnte ich mir niemals verzeihen, nicht alles getan zu haben.

Ich habe vor Gott geschworen, meinen Sohn zu retten — komme, was wolle, selbst wenn meine Kräfte schwinden.

Und ich halte mein Wort. Bis zum letzten Atemzug.

Ich höre nicht auf zu glauben.
