Helen's Emergency Dental Surgery

My mother, Helen, is in need of help. She found out Friday that the pain she was experiencing around her upper-lip was an abscessed tooth.

She also found out that her dental insurance won't cover much of the cost to have the very painful and very dangerous abscess removed, let alone the procedure required to restore her tooth.

For those of you who know my mother, you understand what a kind, loving, and compassionate woman she is. For those of you who haven't had the  pleasure of meeting her, she is all these things and more. She's the kind of gracious soul who has been known to open her home, her heart, and her wallet to anyone in need.

Now I'm asking, on her behalf, to show her the same kindness.

She's in tremendous amount of pain that's only been further aggravated by financial anxiety. As the blind spouse of a disabled veteran, her fixed income leaves very little room for expensive emergencies. Her "rainy day fund" was recently depleted helping my siblings with car repairs and dental work of their own.
