Helen Lucas is the mother of my best friend Debbie McCord. She has selflessly given all of her money her entire life to help her kids and help raise her many grandchildren. She lived with Debbie and her family most of the last 25 years. A year ago she moved to FL with her son Rick and his family. She had been quite sick. On Friday she underwent a fairly simple surgical procedure and she never came out of anesthesia.
This has hit her family very very hard. They were not expecting this to happen. The sudden loss of their mother is heart wrenching.
Debbie must move her mother back to Virginia and the funeral costs of over $10 ,000 are totally uncovered. There was no life insurance.
I am begging all of you to give a little even if you don't have much..... a couple bucks from a hundred people goes a long way.
Please pray for them IF you truly cannot donate to help with burial expenses.
