Heidy's Funeral Expense

Update: Thank you to everyone who helped contribute towards Heidy's Funeral Expense. This campaign was a huge success thanks to the generosity and participation of family, friends, brothers and sisters in arms, and anyone else who was deeply touched by her presence or story. Everyone who knew Heidy knew she had a huge heart as she was equally courageous and generous. It was no surprise she was voted most likely to take a stand in high school, as well as cared for and rescued many animals throughout her life. She was also a proud and loving Aunt who loved to spend time with her two nieces and nephew. In 2004 Heidy joined the United States Army. She served two tours (South Korea and Iraq), once again ready to take a stand to fight for our beautiful country. Joining the military was always a dream she was most proud of achieving. Unfortunately, Heidy returned battling a silent war known to very few, post traumatic stress disorder. On May 29th 2017 that battle became too powerful to overcome. After Heidy's passing there was an outpour of love and support from family and friends. It was obvious her presence touched the lives of so many individuals from all walks of life, and her infectious laughter and great memories will forever remain in our hearts. Please help the Restrepo family pay for funeral expenses by donating anything you can during this difficult time. Maribel Restrepo, Heidy's only sister, has been added as the beneficiary to this account and will use the funds to pay for all funeral expenses. Rest In Peace Heidy Tatiana Restrepo.
