My family and friends we are in need of your help. I am asking if you have not contributed please do. Amount does not matter everything does help. I started a GoFundMe for my nephew Hector Rosado, Jr. who is 34 years old. He is in need of Double Lung Transplant. He has been battling Lung Disease for 7 years.
Doctors told him he had to stop working because of his Lungs. We could not understand why he had Lung Disease because he never smoked. My nephew Hector's condition has been deteriorating to the point he has to have continuous oxygen 24 hours a day. He wants a better life. He has a 3 year old son named Brandon who is his pride and joy. Because of his illness he has been unable to do things with him.
Doctors told him he has two choices:
1. Continue with his Oxygen till his heart tolerates it's
2. Or Lung Transplant that gives him 5 years at least to live a normal life. Which at that time he would go for another Lung Transplant.
My Nephew was saddened with the news and cried. He told the Doctors he will go with the Transplant. He told the Doctors he wanted as much time to live with his 3 year old son Brandon. He wanted to be able to play with him, go to the park and be able to push him on the swing. Also to take him to his first day of school without worrying about running out of oxygen.
My nephew Hector has had some other obstacles besides his Lung condition. But he said what matters most to him is his son. He hopes to fulfill this dream after his Transplant.
I know I can't stop the pain and anxiety that my nephew Hector is going through with his family, however we can offer gifts of prayers and finding a way to help lift some of the financial burden he is facing.
We are asking for help to raise $10,000.00 to cover some of his cost before and after his Lung Transplant, transportation to and from Doctors office in Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, parking in New York City, medication and some of his medical expenses. He is on Disability with minimum wage. With everyone help he will be able o receive the proper care he needs.
We are calling on the generosity of our family, friends and neighbors to help fulfill his dream #save Hector Jr.
