Hector Monge's Funeral Expenses

Donation protected
Family & Friends, the Monge/Cervantes family is in the process of planning funeral services for our beloved father and grandfather, Hector Guillermo Monge Sr. Hector began making arrangements while he was with us, however we are still in need of help. We are in need of about $10,000 as soon as possible in order to have a proper service that he so greatly deserves. Any donation and help counts and will be greatly appreciated.

On July 5, 2017 at 6:30pm Hector Guillermo Monge Sr., beloved Father and Grandfather, lost his battle to cancer. The family as a whole discovered he had been diagnosed with cancer November 2016. He began receiving treatment and was initially doing well. They stopped his chemo treatments in April to let his body rest, but the cancer came back more aggressively and started to spread more.

On June 19th, Hector was taken to the hospital. It was there that the family found out the cancer had spread to a point where it was no longer curable. The family believes that he knew all along but did not want to bother or worry any of us especially his beloved wife.

Hector came home on hospice care July 3rd in order to be comfortable in his own home as he wished. We cared for hime until he took his last breaths. We are saddened for the loss of our father and grandfather and he will be missed dearly.  We are so proud of how strong he was throughout his entire battle and how long he hung on for his wife. Though we are sad, we are at peace knowing he is no longer suffering, and is rejoicing in happiness with his parents, family & friends in heaven. Our faith tells us we  will see him again one day, but for now he's looking over our famiy. We know that no matter what, he will guide & protect his family throughout their journey here on earth.

Hector was a very strong man . He sacrificed so much for all of his family when they needed him. We will always rememer the good times we enjoyed with him fondly. He was an amazing man with a great sense of humor. He lived a great long life and will forever be in our hearts. His family will always remeber him as the best , father, grandfather, & husband. Till we meet again , Rest in paradise !

Much love and appreciaton. Thank you.
