Heckman Family Fire Tragedy

Early on November 18th, 2017, a fire destroyed our home, garage, and vehicles. We all got out safely, including our dog and we helplessly watched all our possessions be consumed by the flames. Thankfully, the fire started in the garage, giving us enough time to get out. We have been encouraged to establish this Go Fund Me page for of the support of our community, friends, and family. We are staying with nearby with relatives and we have been provided transportation. We are all set with basic necessities and clothing thanks to numerous local donations. We have people offering us furniture and household items, but since it will be such a long road before we can use it, we are painfully declining; we don’t want the furnishings damaged during storage. We have set a goal of $2000 as this will help to cover immediate expenses. We are beyond grateful to every individual who has helped us through this difficult time. We can’t express our appreciation better than our toddler daughter who has said to those who support us, “Thank you for rescuing us.” We are eternally grateful to everyone.
