Heckington Living Community Radio
Did you know:
- It cost around £1800 to bring you HLR in 2020/21
- 48% of this was paid for by Heckington Living (a local voluntary group), 12% from our sponsor and 40% by our presenters
- People listened to HLR for more than 2200 hours in January
- Keeping HLR on the virtual air is likely to cost around £3000 in 2021/22
- We are not allowed to raise money from on air advertising as a condition of our licence
- If most of our regular listeners donated £10 for their next year’s listening, we would be able to raise the money we need
- That’s less than 20p a week!
- If we raise more, we can invest in equipment to improve the programmes we bring you
- Heckington Living Community Radio is run entirely by volunteers on a not-for-profit basis, for the benefit of the whole community, their family and friends
Can you help us keep Heckington connected?
