Heather "The Heat" Hadley is a sixteen-year-old girl who is passionate about racing. She started racing at 9 years old at Driven Raceway, an indoor go-karting facility. In 2011 she won 104 of her 107 total races in the span of 6 months. Quickly she developed an unheard of winning record of a 99.9% win ratio. As of today, Heather is ranked #2 of over 300,000 people. She has almost 500 races and a 100% winning average.
In 2012, s"he moved to gas-powered kart racing and enrolled in Jim Russell's Cadet Karting school.
Over the next 3 years she competed in over 50 races all around NorCal and earned more than 75 trophies at well known tracks such as Dixon, Davis, Prairie City, Atwater, Monterey, Stockton, Fresno, Reno, and Sonoma. Heather competed in the KPX championship in 2016, WKA championship in 2014, two Gold Rush Championships, and two Race of Champions Championships at Simraceway. While also being featured in the Vallejo Times Herald and Benicia Herald 10+ times, KPIX-5, a commerical for American Bone Health Association, and more.
In 2015, Heather was recognizing by Mazda Racing and introduced to several Mazda executives, drivers, and press personnel at Laguna Seca for the SCCA runoff's. Heather spoke at the banquet in front of 300+ people. Heat was featured in Racer Magazine and the SCCA monthly magazine for over the span of 7 months.
In 2017, Heather acquired her own two Legend Cars. One of which being a 1934 Chevy Sedan, the other a Coup. Reaching up to speeds of 130 mph and powered my motorcycle engines, known as one of the hardest cars in the world to drive. She competed in two INEX championships, NASA's young lions division road course championship and the young lions division circle track championship. Her result in Road Course racing was 1st in the nation, while simultaneously finishing 1st in the state for young lions division circle track racing.
So far this year, Heather is competing the same two championships and progressing in all aspects of racing that she can. She was sponsored by the Lindsey Vonn Foundation, became an instructor for NASA, and is consistently working out and learning as much as possible. Heather is also an honor roll student, softball player and musician. Her incredible passion and dedication to racing will live for the rest of her life. Race car driving is a sport that requires many hours of travel, preparation, and dedication that she and her family are more than willing to give. However, it is also an expensive passion.
