Heather's Stage Four Cancer Battle

Heather has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Ductal Carcinoma .The cancer spread beyond her right breast and into several lymph nodes. The most concerning lymph node is one located between both her lungs. The carcinoma is Estrogen Positive and HER2 negative. So far she has been through 20 weeks of invasive chemotherapy and will now need to go to MD Anderson in Houston for a double mastectomy surgery, followed by recovery and 6 ½ of radiation two times per day.

Heather is very close to me, she is my newest God-Daughter converting to Catholicism last year.  She is an inspiration to everyone she comes into contact with.  She managed to work every day while doing chemo and never  once complained (accept for the day she threw up in my trashcan).

She is need of our help,  she will have to be out of work and having  to live in Houston for the next 8 weeks or more, she is going to need some financial support, beginning October 2nd.  She’s going to be away from her husband and her fury little children, Gizmo and Monte, for a quite a long time.  We are trying to raise $5,000 to help with the expenses, food, gas lodging, etc.  Whatever we can raise will be a blessing!
