Heather's fund for The Mustard Seed, South West

Hello, everyone! This November/December, I have been virtually walking to a total of 874 miles from just next to our home, Lands End, right the way to John O’Groats on a mission called End to End! Everyone has been so incredibly supportive and I have loved every second of it. But the reason I’ve taken on this challenge, is help two charities who are close to my heart. The first is the Mustard Seed, a local charity and Food Bank. In 2020, with people being made redundant and falling on particularly hard times, the wonderful Charity has been at heart of helping so many in the our community. To say their contribution in the South West has changed & helped so many lives, is an understatement. The second is Macmillan Cancer Support but more specifically the Macmillan Nurses. We all know someone who has been affected by cancer, and through a pandemic and lack of funding, they need the support now more than ever. So, with that I’ve been convinced by my family to set up a Go Fund Me page to update my progress and try to fundraise as much as possible just before the New Year and onwards! I know that I have taken a donations in cash, and therefore, please do not feel obligated to donate here also, however if you would share this page, it would be the perfect Christmas present! As of setting this page up, I can confirm that I have virtually walked to Pitlochry in a Scotland and am 4th out of 3089 walkers, with just 221 miles to go! It would be wonderful to give something back to the people who have helped so many in such a difficult year, therefore please donate if you can and share to whoever you are able! Thank you!
