I’m going to try something I’ve never done… a GO FUND ME for The Alabama Free Clinic!

What is The Alabama Free Clinic?

It’s a place for people with chronic illnesses to go to receive excellent medical care, needed life sustaining medications, education and supplies.

All funded through donations, fundraising and grants. The clinic is non profit.

The physicians, nurses and clerical staff donate their time to provide these services.

The patients in their care, work full time jobs, sometimes more than one, and still cannot afford the outrageous cost of insurance premiums all while feeling pretty terrible because of their chronic illness.

If it weren’t for the Free Clinic, many of their patients would have to make a choice of purchasing needed medications for themselves or food for their children…guess what they’d choose.

Every one dollar raised is equivalent to about $20 in medical care. This is what prompted this idea.
