Dear Friends & Family,
It is with great sadness that this Go Fund Me account has been created. On Memorial Day, 2015, Heather Marie Newman was laid to rest. She was taken at the very young age of 28. She was a loving mommy to three small children, Brielle (8), Caylee (4), and James (1 ½) and cherished by her husband, Jimmy. Heather's obituary and details about her service at Anglin Funeral Home in Stewart County, Tennessee can be found here .

Heather was a very spirited young woman full of life and love for her family. The legacy she leaves includes many wonderful memories of cooking with her children, planning creative and fun birthday parties, crafting and spending time with her husband and extended family.

Obviously nothing can replace what they’ve lost and now life must continue for her husband Jimmy and their three precious children. Our hope with this Go Fund Me account is that we can make their journey ahead a little easier.

Suddenly finding himself as a single father of three, Jimmy now is the sole breadwinner and caretaker for Brielle, Caylee, and James. Childcare costs will now be an issue as their rotating work shifts allowed one of the parents to always be with the children. Their income has been cut by more than 50% as Heather was a medical assistant and Jimmy works in catering. His immediate concerns are a failing refrigerator, diapering a young child, home repairs he has been working on and repairs needed for their family transportation.

As with so many other young families, life insurance was not something the family had invested in yet, so the financial burden of a burial, headstone, and other end of life costs makes this time even more difficult. The cost of the funeral alone is just under $5,000, not including the headstone and other associated costs. To avoid interest on the funeral costs, the full payment is required within 28 days (June 23, 2015). We also hope to be able to establish an educational fund for Brielle, Caylee, and James.
