Heather McCune Medical Fund

Our friend and sister Heather McCune has been in a battle for her life since May 2017, when she was diagnosed with an aggressive oral cancer that settled in her cheek.  She traveled from Palm Beach, Florida back to her alma mater University of Minnesota (Masonic Cancer Center) for a 12+ hour surgery to remove the tumor, create a new palate and reconstruct part of her face. Heather also endured months of aggressive radiation and chemotherapy, and has been living with a tracheotomy and stomach tube ever since. Her recovery has been challenging, and she has returned to the hospital a few times and has been undergoing rehabilitation in the Twin Cities.   Medicare and supplemental insurance have not covered all the costs. We are raising funds to help pay unreimbursed medical bills and help her return to Florida to be with her family.  A donation of any amount will be graciously welcomed.
