As I write this, my lifelong best friend and one of the most amazing women I know is in surgery and will need our help when she is recovering. She isn't one to ask for help, so I am asking for her and her family's sake.
Four months ago, Heather was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer. Her mastectomy is today and though she is in excellent hands at City of Hope, her healing journey is just underway. There will be extensive therapies to follow and medical bills to cover. Additionally, many of the treatments she will have aren't covered by insurance.
Heather is on a Leave of Absence from work and her husband is working double duty to pick up the difference, but they need our help. To know her is to Love her, and to support her would mean the world. Any donation toward her medical fund is a blessing.
