Heather We Miss U - Support Jake, Nolan and Tucker

Donation protected
Heather's family needs our support now more than ever. Your generous donations will help her husband in his role as a single parent. God bless you and thank you in advance for your generosity. Please continue to keep this family in your prayers.

Our courageous fighter, Heather Lindholm went up to meet her loving Savior, Jesus on Friday morning (April 17th). She was 36. She used every ounce of her might to fight the crappy battle that is cancer. Her whole heart wanted to stay here longer to love on her husband and her precious boys.

As much as we wanted Heather to stay with us, the cancer had taken over.  There is a part of us that is thankful her suffering was over and she can live cancer and pain free, unfortunately it was not on this side of heaven.

Heather was the "World's Best Mom" as all the hand painted Mother's Day signs that line their walls say. She lived that role well. She loved those boys with everything she had. Her eyes sparkled watching them. Her days revolved around them... art projects, baking, gardening, coloring, parks etc.

Heather was a wonderful daughter. She lost her dad, Dan, 16 years ago to ALS and since then has had an extra special bond with her mom, Roxanne. Heather and Roxanne got to be a wonderful team over the years. In God's providence, Roxanne was able to retire and was almost immediately needed when Heather's cancer journey started. We are so thankful Heather was able to have her mom so near to her during such a hard few years.

Heather was a great wife, mother, daughter,  daughter-in-law, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin, friend...  if you didn't get to know and love Heather, we are sorry. She was one of a kind. She will never be forgotten.

Heather was a master gardener. She loved growing plants. She had many orchids she tenderly cared for as well as a huge yard and garden that her and Roxanne have tended to year after year, growing it into a little Arboretum.

Heather was a master baker. There was not a question what part of the meal Heather would bring to holidays and gatherings. It was what dessert, what pie, what new tasty treat she would bring?  She loved to try new things and always blessed us with her baking.

Heather was a master teacher/trainer. I am so thankful for her "Fit Family" at the Eden Prairie Community Center and for all those that loved her over the years that she trained and taught. We are sure all those squats helped her in her fight, they surely helped her be able to move about to the very end.

For those of you not lucky enough to know Jake, he is a painter and he owns his own business (painting mostly interior doors these days). He has been such a great husband and father during these tough years. He has worked hard and loved hard. The boys need their dad home with them as much as possible in the coming days. He is a fantastic dad. You'll find them outside as much as possible - biking, shooting hoops, playing catch...

The Boys: Nolan is 8 (and a half) and Tucker is 5 (and a quarter)(In April 2020 anyways). We are thanking God today for how resilient He made those boys. We will be continuing to pray, and ask you to do the same, for God to give them strength, courage, and even joy when moving forward in life without their "Worlds Best Mom". They love to be outside. They love biking, monster jams, doing friend art projects and experiments... They could play cars for hours and one of their favorite games is one they made up called, "Come Over".  Oh their imaginations!

We will carry on her memory and continue to share her love - by loving on Jake, Nolan and Tucker. By coming around Roxanne, Heather's grandma, Lorinne, Heather's brothers, Matt and Luke, Roxanne's sisters and their families. And coming around Jake and his family. His grandpa Frank, his mom Julie  and dad, Dan,  his brother David and sister Danielle, cousins, and family.

This summer wearing tie dye, baking and gardening will be a sacred thing for us. It will be a way to remember, honor and love our dear Heather. If you feel so called and able, a donation in Heather's honor and in support of her husband and boys moving forward would be such a blessing. We would be forever grateful.

Heather posted this image  on Facebook awhile ago and it is fitting. It is not only true for her - since she is no longer suffering, but what we are suffering here in losing her,  it will not compare with the glory that will be shown to us. We are so thankful for the truth that we can rest in.
