Heather’s healing

I’m Alyssa Bohlman, Heather’s sister in law. I wanted to start this to help support Heather, my brother Adam, and their beautiful children during this difficult time. What started as a fun night of trick or treating turned into a nightmare when Heather hit her head in a freak accident and became unresponsive. She needed to be flighted to Froedtert Hospital where she was found to have a fractured skull and bleeding on her brain. She has, since, required surgery to remove a part of her skull to relieve some pressure and remove a hematoma. While everyone is so hopeful, the next day or two is going to be crucial in knowing what direction things are going. Anyone that knows Heather knows that she is a fighter and she isn’t going to give up that easily . No one can ever be prepared for something like this and we can’t even begin to imagine how much of a hit this will be financially. Adam will not be working, making a lot of trips back and forth to Froedtert , and we aren't sure what the future may hold whether it will be more surgery, therapy, need for any equipment, etc. Any donation will be appreciated to help ease some stress for him. The amount of outpouring we have gotten from people offering to help with the kids or meals has been amazing and we are so grateful!
