Heather and Shawn Henry

Donation protected
On November 15, 2017, Shawn Henry kissed his wife, Heather Henry, goodbye as they set off to work. After a couple of hours, Shawn's Supervisor came to get him. Shawn was told that there had been an accident at Heather's work. Heather works for a local factory in town. She works a press that stamps out baking pans. The machine's safety mechanism had failed! Both of Heather's hands had been crushed and possibly amputated. She was rushed to Jackson Madison County General Hospital for immediate surgery. The Drs were unable to save her hands. She lost both hands in the blink of an eye.

Can you imagine how your life would be changed forever if you lost both of your hands suddenly?

Shawn and Heather have been together for 20 years and just celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary. Shawn works for our local utility department. Both of them are avid animal advocates. They have rescued and fostered numerous cats and dogs that have been rescued from kill shelters. They have been active with their local fire and rescue departments.

With Heather's unfortunate and tragic accident, they have dropped from a two income family to a single income family. They just bought a house, have travel expenses, food bills, utilities, pet care needs, and every day expenses. The last thing they need to worry about at this time is money. They definitely have enough on their plates.

Please help out in anyway that you can. Put yourself in their shoes. Think of all the help that you would need. As always, please send your thoughts and prayers. Thank you very much. May God bless you
